We arrange the transport of shipments as a forwarder within the meaning of § 2471 et seq. of the Civil Code, as amended, and the General Forwarding Conditions of the Association of Forwarding and Logistics of the Czech Republic, as amended.
The forwarder’s liability is governed by international conventions regulating the carriage of goods. We therefore recommend that the principal takes out cargo insurance for international shipments. In the event of loss or damage, compensation is limited under CMR conditions to a maximum of 8.33 SDR (Special Drawing Rights) per 1 kg of gross weight. The SDR exchange rate is published daily by the Czech National Bank.
