The Quality Management System of Transforwarding a.s. has been approved by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in accordance with international quality management standards.
First certificate issued: November 19, 1999.
The Quality Management System covers the following activities:
- Provision of domestic and international road, rail, sea, and air freight forwarding services.
- Provision of authorized customs agent services.
- Provision of integrated logistics services.
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of specialized forwarding software.
Personal Data Processing (GDPR)
On May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR) entered into force.
In accordance with this regulation, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data by Transforwarding a.s.:
- By submitting an order, you consent to the processing of the personal data provided. Disclosed confidential information and personal data of other natural persons listed in the order will be processed exclusively for the necessary purposes of mutual cooperation. Transforwarding a.s., as a provider of forwarding and related services, acts as a Data Controller (not a processor) and determines the purpose, method, and means of processing and storing personal data.
- Information for Data Subjects:
- Contact persons of the Controller’s contractual partners (data obtained directly from the data subject).
- Contact persons of the Controller’s contractual partners (data obtained from sources other than the data subject).
- Natural persons in the position of contractual partners.
- Personal data will be processed to fulfill obligations related to the provision of services or contractual relations, primarily based on the submitted transport order (and the resulting forwarding contract). Personal data may only be used for legitimate interests related to the provision of forwarding services and will not be used for other purposes.
- Data will be stored for the duration of the contractual relationship and for 10 years after its termination (due to potential future legal claims, statutory requirements for archiving transport orders together with tax documents, and confirmed delivery notes), or for the period necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Personal data will be processed with regard to its confidential nature, with security measures corresponding to the risks as required by data protection regulations.
- For the purposes stated above, personal data will be provided exclusively to selected subcontractors involved in the transport supply chain (e.g., international partners, selected carriers, partners within the domestic FOFR system) as sub-processors and will not be disclosed to other third parties or unauthorized persons.
