The
purpose of INCOTERMS is to provide to the business community a system of international
regulations for interpretation of the most frequently used business clauses
in international trade. The reason is to adjust the individual clauses to the
current business practices.
The
new, updated revision from 2000 has amended the original terms from 1990. The
document contains explanation of obligations of both the involved parties -
seller and buyer.
